Stuffed Animal Drive / collective de peluches

The stuffed animal drive has begun! This is an interfaith annual drive that benefits sick children at Children's hospital. I have a nephew who had a stroke at the age of three and was rushed from Yucca Valley to Children's hospital in San Diego. While under their specialized and loving care, he received one of these stuffed animals to comfort him during this very traumatic time in his life.

There will be a drive-thru drop off at the El Cajon Stake Center on Saturday, October 19th from 9-11am. Your orange JustServe barrel will also be used for collecting stuffed animals. Attached you will find flyers that can be printed off at your building (they look great in black and white) and placed out for members to take on Sundays.

¡La colecta de peluches ha comenzado! Esta es una colecta anual interreligiosa que beneficia a los niños enfermos del Hospital Infantil. Tengo un sobrino que sufrió un derrame cerebral a la edad de tres años y fue trasladado de urgencia desde Yucca Valley al Hospital Infantil de San Diego. Mientras estaba bajo su cuidado especializado y amoroso, recibió uno de estos peluches para consolarlo durante este momento tan traumático en su vida.

Habrá una entrega en el centro de estaca de El Cajón el sábado 19 de octubre, de 9 a 11 de la mañana, en un formato de entrega por carro. También se usará tu barril naranja de JustServe para recolectar los peluches. Adjunto encontrarás folletos que pueden ser impresos en tu edificio (se ven muy bien en blanco y negro) y colocados para que los miembros los lleven los domingos.
