Night at the Padres

Night at the Padres

On Sept. 5th the students from San Diego’s JustServe Student Clubs were honored on the field during the pre-game ceremonies at the Padres game. 24 presidents and officers from 12 of San Diego’s 25 JustServe Clubs stood on the third baseline as fans cheered their good works! The students could easily be seen in the stands in their blue JustServe shirts cheering on the Padres and having a great time. "Building Unity Through Community Service" is the motto of the JustServe Student Clubs.

The announcer for the Padres spoke as the excited students appeared on the jumbotron.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, the Padres are proud to welcome you to JustServe night at the Padres. Justserve.org is a website that matches volunteers to volunteer opportunities in your community. On the third baseline we are recognizing 24 JustServe Student Club Officers from schools throughout the county who are leading the way in improving their local communities. Thank you to everyone in attendance who supports JustServe in its vision to create unity through community service”.
